The Unplug Challenge

Unplug and Be Outside Meridian is a week full of free activities designed to inspire and empower families to get off the couch and get active! Join others committed to “Unplug & Be Outside” in Kleiner Park as the City of Meridian kicks off a week of exploration and fun. Bring you bicycle for free tire slime. Take a tour of our Community Garden. Grab a free smoothie from the Boise Co-op or learn how to line dance! The Meridian Parks & Recreation staff will have suggestions for activities you can join in sports, arts or recreation, all free the week of May 5 – 12. 

Unplug and Be Outside Kick Off

Mayor Tammy’s Unplug Challenge:

The value of unplugging from our devices to play, learn and get outside cannot be overstated.   I challenge you to set aside technology for a week and participate by attending the free classes  from May 5 – 12.  Activities are offered in sports, arts and recreation. ​Grab your Unplug Bingo Card during the Kick-Off event on Saturday, May 5 in Kleiner Park from 10 am – 2 pm Start playing your way to big prizes!
